The Turkish Diva
The piece is inspired by the beauty, intelligence, passions, and achievements of world-renowned soprano Leyla Gencer, who was born in 1928 in Polonezköy to a Turkish father and a mother of Polish descent. "Leyla Gencer's opera repertoire includes 72 works by 23 composers."
